IPL ECU on Non-IPL G37s

I have the opportunity to get a new IPL ECM for my 2008 G37s 6MT and was wondering if anyone has done this before. I'm curious to know if I'll encounter any issues- any comments or feedback is greatly appreciated!

One of the main things IPL tune accounts for is the true dual exhaust.

Do you have a true dual exhaust? Stock G37S does not.

You'll also have to make sure the pin outs for both ECU's are identical. Things could have changed year over year in terms of what wires connect where on the ECU. You'll also need the BCM and the key holder with a matching key for everything to work.

It's probably easier and more effective to get tuned via EcuTek.

I had my IPL tuned with EcuTek.

OP, if you're paying for the IPL ecu, I would forget it and just get Ecutek. Just get the $650 basic model with cable. Or go with Uprev for $100 cheaper; Ecutek is way better though. Even paying 200 or 300 for IPL ecu is not worth it IMO. It's only worth it if it's free and then you worry about Ape's post.

UpRev's new ARC updates brings a lot of new things to the table against EcuTek. I wouldn't write off Uprev that quickly without having hands-on experience with both software or hearing anecdotal hearsay.

New uprev has VVEL now?

don't know anyone with new uprev. when did it come out? i got tuned like 1 month ago and there was only osiris.

anyways my advice stays the same, doesn't matter if they pick uprev or ecutek.
