I recently bough my 2014 G37 last fall. I love it. Wouldn't trade it for the world. I just have a few questions. When I look for mats for my car nothing comes up for a 2014. Really, anything I look for only goes to 2013. I'm pretty darn smart but I am curious what I can do? I have looked for mats, audio equipment, etc. And only seem to find items for G37's up to 2013. Can anyone help? Here's a pic of my pretty baby girl!

That car was rebadged as the Q60 Convertible for the 2014 model year. Same car, different badge.

You sure it's a 2014? Either way, beautiful car you got there.

 

Long story short: back in 2014, Infiniti decided to rebadge the G COUPE and 'Vert as a Q60. This led to a lot of confusion when trying to find parts/ accessories for both the Coupe and 'Vert- as many parts interchange. Some parts catalogs confuse the difference between the 2014/15 Coupe/ 'Vert and the entirely different 2016-2022 Q60 Coupe. Both the 'Vert and the Q60 are axed. It was yet another screwup on Infiniti's part. This is why you always search for parts matched against your VIN. This will ensure you are getting the right part.

That said, as inventories get depleted, certain OEM accessories, like mats (p/n: G4900-xxxx), are getting harder to find. Remember, these cars are getting old. In this case, if the mats will fit a 2013, they will fit your 2014. You could also use the mats from the Coupe (up to 2015).

Audio on the other hand, that gets tricky... What are you looking for?

 

Srsly? I didn't know they carved out the Vert in that name change. Wow. That's nuts.

OP, anything retail categorized as 2013 should be fine.

 

I edited my post... the confusion was in the parts catalogs as some do not recognize a "Q60 'Vert." This is why you have to run the VIN. When it came to the 'Vert, it was marketed 100 different ways from Sunday. The naming scheme became the cluster cluck we all predicted.

But yes, most 2013 parts will fit up to 2015.

(I still quasi-want a white one, lol)

 

Thanks for the info. The title says 2014 and I bought it from a friend. I will run the VIN just to make sure. She is my pretty baby!
