Well...I did the gear replacement and all was fine and dandy, but my rivets broke. I think one of the 4 was always not as secure as the rest and it fell out, causing extra load on the other 3, which eventually failed as well.

Can anyone offer any size/material/brands for these?

Pretty sure I used some 3/16" aluminum rivets before.
