I was wondering to take out the trunk liner, do i have to open the flaps that cover behind the seats.

I seen several videos just taking the liner off but they don't have the extra parts for the convertible action.

Looking if anyone knows if this will be an issue or not?

 

Maybe someone like @Guy Menard will know, since he's taken the trunk apart enough times.

 

If you are removing the spoiler why are taking the whole trunk apart? Or am I missing / misunderstanding something?

There are 4 bolts that need to be removed to take off the spoiler, i have the g37s with the backup camera.

Also there are the extra arms for the convertible top that intrude with the trunk liner.

I was wondering if i have to remove them before i can take off the liner?

 

It can be done, but it is very difficult. Pretty easy with the arms extended. The easiest way is to open the top until the.arms.extend then remove the liner. I personally leave the car running during this as there is less chance of it losing it's positions. Once you take.the liner out just close the top and you can open the trunk and remove the spoiler.
