Not so new Newbie

I've had my Pacific Blue Convertible since October 2009 but never knew about this forum. Now the vert is "technically" my son's car, and happy to be here!

The grill and emblems are now blacked out and got him new shoes. @220k miles and going strong with no issues.

Welcome, really nice ride I'm sure you son is thrilled to have it.

Remind him to take it easy on the top since they love being messed with. Just in case you do develop issues, this forum is pretty helpful especially in the convertibles area.
You have a couple of people who have tackled the top themselves and have even developed fixes for them.

Thanks. Offered to get him a "new" used car for his birthday when he got his license, but he insisted on the G. He loves it.

Wish I'd found this forum before. Looks like a lot of great info.

The only issue right now is that the window seal on the driver's side by the side mirror is starting to leak a little when it rains. Have to search the forum for a good solution or a good way to replace it.
