Convertible vs Coupe Headlights

Does anyone know if the coupe & convertible have the same headlight shape? I want to purchase a set of those GTR aftermarket headlights for my convertible.

Figure the coupe and vert all have the same characteristics on the front end the side and back are different. You’re good to go on coupe headlights for the vert

Any pics of how the new headlights look? I don't like how my beams are nice and white but the smaller bulb inside the headlight looks yellow or off-white.

you can replace that smaller bulb (IIRC it’s referred to as the “city lamp” or something like that) with an LED bulb that matches the look of the low beam. Gotta have small hands & patience but you can get to it from under the hood and replace it without removing the whole headlight.

Word of advice: get your LED bulbs from a reputable dealer such as diodedynamics.com or superbrightleds.com. Both sites have a 'Bulb Finder-" just enter your car's info.

A fellow 'Vert owner bought LED bulbs from Amazon for his doors that were faulty and drained his battery.

Nothing against Amazon but lately they have been chock full of cheap, Chinese crap. Be wary...

ok thanks for the advice! I don’t mind where they are from I’m willing to pay a little more for good ones. Any links or even a part number I can search?

Diode Dynamics
This is where I bought all my bulbs for my Coupe at least 6 years ago. They still work after all these years and have given me zero issues.

Coupe and Convertible use the same bulb sizes.

Trust me when I say listen to him. He has helped me out of many jams and the most recent was, like he said some cheap China crap lights I got from amazon was was pulling so much amperage from my battery that it would die overnight.

Save your self the headache later on and pay a little more now.
Diode has some quality stuff Cant go wrong.

I don’t have small hands had to take off the whole bumper to get to those lights but have patience you’re going to need it to get to those bulbs without taking the bumper off.

Thanks for the recommendation - happy to help with any questions you have! I had a G37 for 7 years and it was one of the first vehicles we supported at Diode Dynamics. Very tried and true bulbs for this vehicle!

I second the use of high quality LED bulbs. I went cheap on an older porsche boxster. You couldn't listen to the radio when the headlights were on.
