quick help needed w/shocks and minor parts
2010 convertible g37 anniversary edition 7spd auto. At 98k km atm
We found both my rear shocks leaking and asphalt black which are the stock ones never changed. I had many incidents with sudden speed bumps coming out of nowhere while I am driving 60-80km
I was looking online for the numbers and I need help to know if I am supposed to just change the shock itself of some/all of the whole assembly shown here: https://www.parts.com/index.cfm?fuse...7-%20Liter-GAS (part#E6210JJ52A)
Secondly I am lost on transmission mount some websites maybe do not use that term for the part but an alternate possibly, so far what I found were 11320EG800, 11220JK30B, 11233JK000, 11232JK000 (apparently "superseded OEM by 11232-1PM0A" should I always go with superseded OEM parts?), 11331JK000 (superseded by 11331-4GB0A)
3rd, I would have never though buying a cabin air filter is this complex, this is w/technology package (I didn't even know this existed and obviously if I even have it) B72771CA1B, without the package it is 27277VX01A. its almost 20$ vs 40$ but the real issue is if there is a feature (my guess is the air quality sensor to turn circulation on/off) or if it even fits.
4th would you guys suggest me to change the engine mounts since the garage is going to do the trans. the car has very minute symptoms I cannot pin point if the issue is ignition system or mounts with very little vibration when reaching a stop at stop light (and more rarely a lurch back/forward as if it was a badly shifted manual)
5th how often do you guys change ignition coils and plugs if at all. Online the information is between 40-80k km or every 2 years while others say if no symptom therefor no change (i took em out they seem fine just rusty plugs with fine tips) Preventative maintenance is my way of life and ease of mind.
last but certainly not least is break pads. I found on the website the front and rear have "BIG" and small sizes. Some are saying it is related to IPL/sport models and some are saying it also can be optional on other lesser models. If both fit both ways then if the bigger are better for safety without noise or dust then lovely.
Thank you so much in advance and any single help is really appreciated from this wall of text.

1.Just the shocks. The spring is separate in the rear. The mount is all metal so no need for a new one.
2.Always go with superseded.
3.The filters are the same size but the more expensive one contains stuff to filter out allergens and odors.
4.In my experience it's best to change all the mounts at once because when you install a new mount it makes the older ones work harder and they fail sooner. I once changed one mount for cost savings and the other mount broke while i was driving down the street after leaving the shop.
5.The factory plugs are rated for 100,000 miles and on modern cars that's all you need to change. But if you went through the trouble of removing your old plugs to look at them why didn't you just change them?
6.The bigger brakes came along with the sports package, except those with awd, which was an option on all models.

+1 on everything mummy said except with respect to the engine mounts...while it is better to change them all at the same time, the transmisison mount can be changed in a few minutes, but the engine mounts can take a few hours and are far more expensive....have someone diagnose the engine mounts properly and change them only if they have actually gone bad
