I disconnected the battery for some wiring stuff.

After I reconnected, now I get a beep every 10s. Sounds like it's coming from the rear left quarter panel.

Anyone else have this issue?

 

Do the full open / close cycle and it should go away. I think every vert owner has posted about this at some point.

 

i had the same issue, and opening and close did not solve the issue.
i had to clear the B1762 code, and then the beep went away.

B1762 - ROOF STATE (incorrect)

but yes, the beep is because the roof operation did not completely complete its operation.

 

I got this again. Nissan Dealer has no clue how it got there.

Anyone else get this and discover what the REAL issue was?

Cycle the top it stops the beeping. Car has to reset.

 

Yep, beeping usually stops after cycling the roof. No idea why it starts in the first place though.

 

Exactly usually what I’d do to not have to cycle the whole thing again even though the roof is closed I’d hold down the close button you hear some gears move and then the beep goes away but if that doesn’t work for you cycle it open then cycle close and it should make it stop.

 

It could also be your battery needs to be replaced. I had this issue after the battery would run low even after starting it. Once it charged up I would cycle the top and it would go away. I wasn't daily driving it. I replaced it with a yellow Optima, it beeped again and I cycled it and no issues.

 

A dying battery causes a whole slew of issues in this car. You are absolutely right.
