I at least got my sound to go away by pulling the fuse...does this come with some minor side effects. sure...but am I going crazy while I work on a longer term solution? ...I am

 

Hi everyone. I bought my wife a 2012 G37 convertible last fall an we are now having issues with the top not opening.

The tray will drop down and the left side of the trunk looks like it wants to raise, but the passenger side won’t move.

is this the hydraulic cylinder? Low hydraulic fluid? Bad battery?

I had the battery tested at AZ and it tested “good” but needed a charge. I also just replaced the 2 trunk struts.

Does the flipper get stuck? If it does it a real simple problem but a used left or right side flipper assembly and replace it donot try the cheap 3d printed gears off eBay they don’t wor.
i dealt with this for a couple months you have 2 of these flippers that make up the outside ends of the package tray when the top is down good luck.
