No more annoying squeaks for $10
So, I have been putting off getting the DuPont Krytox to lubricate the seals from the top..the car is getting annoyingly lousd with squeaks. Decided to try this product and all noises are gone! Its been a couple of weeks now and the top is still quiet. A bottle is about $10, much cheaper than the $30 tube of Krytox.

I've been using Gummi Pflege on the rubber seals and it also does a pretty good job.
I'll try the 303 stuff next time though.

Works the weather stripping. Dont over do it. Apply enough to see the gloss but not runny. Should apply once a month and it will start to treat the rubber and bring it back to life.
As I said before... It got rid of the constant noise but real bumps still make a noise. Our tops are multiple pieces and flex.

I just bought a '10 Vert (picking it up Friday) and noticed it squeaked when I test drove it. Found it in TN and driving it back to AZ. I'll just crank the tunes until I get it home.

Honda Shin-Etsu Silicone grease (P/N: 08798-9013) is a twice yearly application.
Clean all rubber with wet towel (it will get very dirty). Apply a thin layer of Shin-Etsu. You an use your finger or a folded paper towel. Just a dab will do - no need to over apply. If you see any white, it is applied too thick.
Use on all rubber seals and weatherstrip.
I use this regularly on my S2000 seals. Other cars in the fleet get it as needed.
EDIT: Just looked at the PDF. Krytox appears to also be a silicone grease. Same stuff as the Honda Shin-Etsu grease.
303 is too thin (a liquid) which is why it does not last.
