Is it worth it to get a convertible now?

While living in OH, a vert would've been mostly a toy, but now in NC it can be a dd without any issues. I'm pretty happy I finally made a move!
@Ryne - there is a new 4 series black vert in my development. The dude looks like such a doucher, but the car is beautiful and sounds amazing.

The good thing about these cars is how reliable they are. A 2012+ model won't even have the extremely rare rear timing gasket issue. I don't know a lot about the verts and their leaking but these cars are built solid and will last. If you can afford the car comfortably and really want it then do yourself a favor and buy it.
I was in a similar position as you when I got my car. Got out of school with no debt (thanks parents) and got my first full time job. Bought my car and after just over a year had it completely paid off. Now I have a sporty luxury coupe that I have fun with every day and (so far) has given me 0 problems other than complications due to my own meddling with mods.
