Where are the 2009+ G37S convertible owners at?

I'm trying to figure out if the convertible G37S and regular G37 have a different final drive ratio for the rear differential.

If you have a G37S convertible with the 7 speed automatic transmission can you please post your RPMs for me while in 7th gear at the following speeds?

60mph =
70mph =
80mph =

Rumor is the G37S convertibles have a 3.91 FD to make up for the extra weight, however i can not find concrete information anywhere to back up that claim.

The attached PDF is from the service manual of a 2013 convertible. It shows the AT as having a 3.357 gear ratio, while the MT has a 3.916 gear ratio. I also checked the manual for a 2013 coupe - the AT has the same ratio as the convertible, but the MT coupe has a 3.692.

Still looking for the manual for the sport versions - I'm not sure if they exist though :-/

You have to take into account as to whether some people have gotten the transmission TSB. When I got the TSB, my rpms were lower at any given speed than they were prior to the TSB. Was one of the first things I noticed. I have a 2011 S...

I noticed this as well. It bothered me right after the TSB was done, but the ability to make it downshift without going all the way to the floor was a welcome change. Much more responsive.

My car is in manual mode most of the time, unless on the highway.

Pretty sure the 6MT Vert has those short gears to mitigate all the extra weight. What's curious to me is that the 6MT Vert doesn't have VLSD. Always thought that was odd.

I once borrowed a 6MT Vert for a few days, and it was surprisingly responsive, weight notwithstanding. I mean, you could certtainly feel all that bulk in the turns, but otherwise it felt just as straightline quick as my 6MT Sedan.
