I took it back to the dealer I bought it from which was a Ford and they said its normal and then I went home and then after few weeks it keeps happing and I went to infiniti and they said it was water seal strips that causing it and cost was 1800 dollars. I told Ford and they end up paying for it.

Sooooo infiniti fixed the issue and a day after the replaced the weather strips it happens again with new strips. I took it back they had it for a week or two weeks. A week go by and starts to rain again and then it leaks again. This is the 3rd time back to infiniti and currently in the shop again.

Has anyone had this same issue with g37 convertible??????????? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just purchased my 2009 G37 convertible in November of 2015 and it doesn't leak at all. I even take it through automatic car washes. I'm sorry to hear that about yours. Do you know if its ever been wrecked? The only problem I noticed is the squeaks and rattles everyone speaks of going over bumps. I did my research with Car and Driver and learned the roof section weighs 453lbs. and that is why when the body shifts the roof with rattle and squeak.

Wow, I've had a minor leak from the A piller with highway driving and rain, maybe twice. But the as you noted the weather striping is what would need to be replaced or fixed if possible. Never had a rear leak as someone noted.
Just hit 100k miles in my 09 bought in December 09 and the extended warranty is up at 100k, so $1800 for new seals huh. I may need to save up for that eventuality.

Imagine if you found out that your dealership is treating your car like a disgruntled waitress treats a plate of food that the customer returns to the kitchen because the food "doesn't meet expectations."

What drain holes are you referring to?

I've read about drain holes around the sunroof, but can't find anything on drain holes specific to the 'vert.

I was able to fix the leak in the rear of my car, if anyone is interested I have posted it in it's own thread. It was super easy and is worth a shot before you buy new seals.
