When I drive over bumps the top rattles, shakes and makes weird noises, anyone else experiences these type of problems?

 

Top up or down?
Top up noises my dealer reduced with "piffle" dust9ie dont know what was done). Hope it lasts as it did help.
Top down I put pads where the top rests at the rear. Removes metal on metal noise on rough roads. Will not last forever but easy to redo.

My 2010 rattled with the top up even after taking it and having the dealer fix it probably a half dozen times over two years. Just one of those things you likely are going to have to live with. Enjoy it with the top down! No rattles.

Do a search in this subsection of the forum... there are tons of threads about rattles/creaks/etc. in the convertibles.

 

My wife's 2013 makes noise (top up) over bumps already with only 7k miles on it. As a matter of fact, we were going from ATL to Tallahassee the other weekend and this is one of the reasons I chose to take my car at the last minute, even though it was top down weather in FL.

Her previous car was a VW EOS, which she put 34K on, and the top never made any noise at all. Speaking of the top, the Infiniti dealer made her sign her all kinds of crap on how to only operate the top when the car is perfectly level blah blah blah. If VW has the same potential issues, the VW dealer never mentioned it or made her sign anything.
