Rattling, Clanging noise when releasing brake????

Rattling, Clanging noise when releasing brake????

Hi im new to this forum and i have read some great threads that have already helped me alot.

Anyways im looking to get some help I have a 2009 g37 convertible Automatic transmission with 97000 km it im gettin a noise when i release my foot from the break and let the car roll its like a metal clanging noise i notice it more when im going through drive throughs and the sound reflects off a near by wall any idea on what it could be?

Have you taken a close look at your front brakes yet? Possibly the dust shield coming in contact with the rotor? If you remove the wheels and have a good look you may see where something is touching something it shouldn't.

Ok so after a lot of headaches at the dealer they discovered it was due to the rear brakes and rotors. They did warranty it since the car was making the noise since i bought it. Just thought i would share the info in case others have the same problem

What was wrong with the rear brakes and rotors?

Was the rotors warped or something else?
