I will be a proud owner next Thursday :)

New to forum, new to Infiniti... I am from MA, and will be flying to Ohio to pick up a 2009 G37s convertible next Thursday. *I couldn't find any sport models in this area that were red/black. *There were a few base automatics but no red MT's. *I test drove a 2009 blue/white MT, and loved the ride, but wasn't in love with the color. *I can't wait to drive my new car for 10 hrs for my first trip. *Any tips tricks or suggestions??? :-)

I just did Washington DC to Chicago drive a few weeks back, wasn't too bad. Take a break every 90 min or so to stretch out and take some pics with the car.

Load up your iPhone, and if you got it from an Infiniti dealer you should also have 3 months of free XM

Even if not from an infiniti dealership you can have xm add the radio for 3 months for free.

Congrats on your new ride!

My advice - Drop the top, crank up the seat heaters & the radio and enjoy! Hopefully the weather cooperates on your ride home with the top down.
Safe trip!

Can't wait to drive it home...I'll be avoiding the mid-PA route 80 and stick with 90. Gonna stop in Erie, PA to grab some wings at Quaker Steak and Lube and get back on rt. 90 the whole way back. Picking it up at a Nissan dealership, do they activate XM upon purchase? I use the iPod connector in my Nissan xterra, will this '09 allow Bluetooth streaming of audio from my phone, or do I have to use the connector cable? Not so sure about driving with the top down lol... It hasn't been that warm around here, not sure how Ohio is. I will post pix from the trip next Friday... Stay tuned
