well, my G was in a car reck about a month ago and i suspect that the reason for the misalignment on my ride with the top. So probably for you its just a gap, as long as you are not getting crazy noises coming from it, then I would be really concerned. nevertheless, taking it to the dealer wouldnt hurt. We all want our rides to be perfect especially if we paying this much for them.

 

ok.. i looked at mine last night, it's the same as your first pic. The visor area actually has that gap., but the roof is fully closed. I hardly ever move the visor or looked directly under that area. Everywhere else does not have that gap so it must be part of the design.
