To answer my own question. I talked to quaife and they said it should be a direct bolt in for our cars since its the same as the 370z. Now i just gotta figure this whole shimming thing out.

It's a brilliant idea if it will work with the convertible and very cool looking. It also will make getting in and out of the car in the garage easier...
sorry for the bump.
but I was looking at the service manuals and did not see that the convertibles come with an LSD stock, this is correct right?
but they do have 3.9 gear ratio since they weigh more than the coupes almost 4000lbs
Correct. No LSD but good drive ratio. I haven't look any more into it lately. LSD is supposed to be easy to put in. Oddly enough I haven't had much issue with keeping power to both wheels with the supercharger even with the turns on an autos course or tail of the dragon

I don't know about you but my kit puts down enough power to slip the tires in 3rd gear - I think the LSD will help, doing the install this sunday!

One thing to keep in mind is our car "cheats" a little with the brakes to help out. If slip occurs, it can apply brake to the spinning wheel to allow the wheel with more traction to apply power. That being said, it's not as efficient as having an LSD and will also heat the crap out of your brakes with prolonged use (i.e. on a track).
