I have not seen an ITB specifically for the roof dings but I think it has to do with 10-044 07/09/2010 Body - Convertible Top/Trunk CONSULT III Work Support

This may have been the one they used my car to get the prototype for. I was told because of a fix engineering did on my car (took like 3 weeks to wait for the engineer and get a working prototype with testing), it eventually became a ITB...

I gave them permission to be first and to use my car for the solution.

My car has been the lab rat on too many times. Usually, the hold up is waiting for engineering to make their way to your dealer. Even when they are traveling through, they may have to come back to complete the analysis and come up with a solution. It can take 1 to 3 weeks before you see your car back if you are the guinea pig per incident. My car is quiet again and I'm hoping I'm done with engineering for a long time.
