The grounding kit does help. And some prove to add some power. I bought it to dress up my engine bay and for smoother gear changing .

Mods, please lock this thread before we have ANOTHER grounding kit debate/war start. Check the DIY section. There are step by step instructions for making your own kit. It's very easy and straight forward. Grounding kit's are a personal preference. It's one of those things that can't be tested or proved, so people call them bunk, while others swear by them. I personally like them. They are cheap to make, and help out in Auto shift lag. I can also understand why people call them crap. In my experience though, most nay-sayers simply go off of logic/ loose science and have not actually tried a grounding kit.

There's no scientific possibility that they can add power, period. They simply help electronics function better by increasing the grounding of the chassis. They only real benefits owners have claimed, and I have experienced are improvement in DS auto-tranny shifts, and audio quality of the sound system. These are not a performance mod really. More of a cosmetic enhancement with slight added benefits.

Yep, I totally agree. I have an auto and have noticed a smoother up and downshift experience. Not that it was awful before, just feels smoother now overall. To each their own, but I feel it was worth doing for driving experience

People feel what they want. Why would you think that if a $5 wire addition made the car work better it wouldn't be on there. All this BS of some speaker wire being some addition is just people marketing a product. Nothing more.

"power" increases on the dyno are in the accuracy of the dyno, EVERY RUN varies on the dyno from one to the next. So a +3hp increase is nothing but the variance.

LOL... Ill take those 3 extra horsepower over stock any day!!! IJS!! On my 2004 Acura Rsx S-Type!! I installed the Buddy Club race condenser and I stop having power fluxation throughout my car... You know letting your windows down and your head light flicker!! And whenever the A/C cut on and off!! And my Rpm's were steady with Kpro!!

Its also funny that people think a grounding kit helps with hydraulics. It's fluid, not electrons.

Suga pilla.

Talk about beating a dead horse... all I can say is, if you don't have an auto tranny G37 and have not tried putting a grounding kit on it you have no room to talk. The end.
