I love the red interior of the Premier Edition (Bloomingdales) when I got my Vert in the summer of 2009 but I wanted a manual trans not automatic - All of the Bloomies cars were auto trans only.

Is Monaco red the same color as the red from the Premier Edition (Bloomies) vehicles?

 

Obviously, I haven't seen Bloomie version in person, but judging from the photos yes, it seems to be the same.

 

puke, with the red dash, they can keep it. only the leather part should be red, and everything else black like the verts, my Stone interior is only stone on leather, all plastic and panel and armrest, which is leather is black, just the way i like it.

but yeah, if the option was like the IPL version, then yeah we are getting screwed, but bleh i rather have like dark red or somthing.

 

My dash is black, and only the leather parts are red, but I did see photos of one G37 vert which had red seats and a red dash, and didn't like it all.

I also saw pics of another vert which had a red center arm rest (mine is black), so it seems that there are at least three variants of Monaco Red.

 

Just to clarify the pics posted by Da mayor are of the EX in japan as the skyline crossover. This does look horrendous color wise IMO. So we are on the same page. I don't know if this scheme is in the G.

I have a sneaky feeling it the monaco red may be an option later down the road for non limited edition Gs. The middle east spec verts had sonar since 2008 and they just arrived in 2010 on the G series stateside. Or maybe there is no relation and it will only be a "limited edition" option to get more $ from sales from a different SKU.
