Hey. I was wondering what gas mileage everyone is getting. I want to know from autos, manuals. BUT tell me your average cruising speed and what rpm and how many miles on the car. I'm starting a new thread b/c we have a different gear ratio. I'll start

16-17 mpg
97% suburban(city)/hwy
avg 60 mph @ 2200-2400 rpm
18k and change

 

auto trans
mix highway and city (25mile commute daily 1 way)
70-75 mph
19-20 mpg
5600 miles

 

Auto tranny
25 highway
15 city (if lucky)
60 mph @ ~ 2000 RPM
80 mph @ ~ 2600 RPM
1400 miles

 

Manual Transmission
mix highway and city (25 mile commute each way daily)
mostly back roads 45 MPH with a mix of stop lights
19-20 mpg
9000 miles

 

Same here. I wish i got better in the city.

 

Don't know, don't care, I work out of the house. $25.00 a week for half a tank. lol

16 City 20-24 highway.

 

I get an average of 20/22 mpg... city/freeway combined ...

Around town I am lucky if I see 15. On the highway about 22 cruising at a brisk pace (pleading the 5th here).
20 months old and I just hit 11,000 miles today...

 

19 months old and I just hit 10,000 miles today

Just took my first road trip. Averaged 25mpg at sustained 80 mph on Florida Turnpike with top up and A/C on. I imagine it would be significantly better at 65-70 mph.

 

Was this calculated out or was this what the computer told you?
