Toddler Seat for the Vert

Hey guys. I am looking for a seat for my 2.5 year old son. I have a front facing seat (Britax Frontier 85) in there now from our acura mdx. It states that you need the 3rd harness connector for it even if using the seatbelt. What do you all use if anyone ferries their kids around at all. I am using the latches but not the seatbelt. The latches seem to keep the seat in better.

probably, especially a blown one. My wife doesn't like two booster seats in our G37 since she doesn't think they fit correctly so we usually ferry them in our SUV.

I use a plain ol' toddler seat. Mine is 5 years old and with the toddler seat the three point seat belt fits perfectly over his shoulder. Hes about 50lbs.

Not the only one with a kid, just younger kids than me so I cant offer any advice.

My girls are 9 & 13 so I am out of the booster seat requirement.

I use the Graco Backless TurboBooster seats in my Coupe. I have a 4 and 5 yr old (17 months apart) who are both above the low end weight rqmt for these seats. They fit the G pretty well. They are not attached but just sit in the seat. You buckle the kids in with the normal seatbelt. They scored high in consumer reports safety testing. I don't think you will be able to use them with a 2.5 yr old although I am not positive. It varies by state and is based on weight and height.

If you're using the anchor latches, you're fine. The tether strap is optional, but not required. Atleast that is the case with my Britax, forgot which model I have.
