OEM rear spoiler Install Instructions
Does anyone have the install instructions for the OEM spoiler. I am thinking of getting the one from canada and installing onto the car. I want to know where the hole need to be drilled at and all. Thanks!

If it's like the OEM spoiler I bought for my old 350Z it comes with a template in the box. But after having it installed and seeing what needs to be drilled you can get away with just using the double sided tape.
I assume youre talking about the front lip? because the rear spoiler has 5 new holes to be drilled out and theres no way it will "just" stay on with double sided tape.

Nope I am talking about the rear spoiler for the convertible. That's why I would like to see the instruction manual. I'll put it more clear in the title. I want to know how many holes. I was told 2 holes, but now you say 5 holes. But I see philttz that you have the sedan? do you know is it 5 holes for the vert as well. The spoiler is different from the vert to the sedan or coupe.

It is not rocket science - the install of the spoiler shouldnt be difficult. I would be more concerned about affixing with just double sided tape regardless. (I know the stuff is strong but, would you really want to risk the spoiler flying off on the highway & hurting someone because you wanted to cheap out on the install?)
If you really want the spoiler, dont buy it in canada for extra $, get it here - have it painted the correct color & have the auto body shop that is gonna paint it install it for you - all for less $ than the canadian one...

Well getting it here is 700 dollars and then to repaint it is roughly 200 so. That makes it about 900. I can get it for about 1050 from the dealer up there, by having my inlaws in toronto pick it up and its the right color.
The issue is that if its only 2 holes needing to be drilled and it uses existing holes then that may not be an issue. When 2012 comes around with the new spoiler i may like that instead and dont want to take the chance that the holes will not match up. If it does not use any of the stock holes for the spoiler then I may pass up on it cause I do not want this flying off.
I know it's not rocket science. I am just asking for the install instructions to find out how many holes exactly

I know they come with the spoiler, i'm trying to figure out how many holes are drilled and where on the G without buying the spoiler. I want to know this before I invest 1k into another part. I want to know if I can double side tape it. I am fairly sure its 2 screw holes that need to be made... NOT 5 need for the spoiler. If it uses the stock screw holes for the current spoiler, then maybe i can get buy with out drilling the trunk lid.
