G37 Convertible Anniversay - Customizing

Hi everyone - I am a new member and I just purchased a new Infinity G37 Convertible Anniversary edition today. Was hoping you guys could give some advice on customizing the car. Of course, the anniversary edition has all the bells and whistles - Premium Audio, Premium Nav, Red Leather, etc.

What custom options are available... here are the things I know I would like to know more about...

1) unlocking the nav / phone / dvd features while the car is in motion

2) adding or upgrading the subwoofer - In my last car i had a ported Rockford 12" with a separate amp but the convertible does not have a lot of room. Was wondering if anyone has had any luck in adding custom sub install that looks clean and works with the top down. Ideas?

welcome. now let's talk about your questions:

1)can't talk about/the phone works just fine when you're driving/can't talk about (read the forum rules please)

2)search/read through the audio section, there is tons of info in there about different setups

I saw a 2010 anniversary edition vert at the dealer last week - an attractive gray with the red leather. The front treatment below the grill is more agressive than on my 2009 sport vert. I thought it looked very attractive.

Regarding options your car doesn't come with, the anniversary convertible I saw did not have the illuminated kick plates, won't have the interior accent lighting option in the foot wells. The other option that might be worthwhile is the wind screen. I don't know whether you get enought snow in TN to buy winter tires but winter wheels and tires are a nice option up here. With any snow, you won't want to go outside with the stock tires.

I have no idea where you'd put an upgraded woofer without interfering with the stowed roof - maybe modding the rear armrest? I also like the iron man head light modifications that 180custom does - very pleasing and can be colored from fairly conservative to very noticeable.

The only place to put a sub is to sink it into the spare tire well.
