I cant figure out how to open the roof on the car with the intelligent key in my pocket. The owners manual doesnt mention it, yet the brochure does....

any suggestions?

My car is Pacific Sky with Wheat interioe and african rosewood trim with sport wheels.... she's a looker!

I thought you just hold down the button on the door and it will eventually open...but you have to have the rear divider up in the proper position.

 

That works for me.

You can simply have it in your pocket unless you are holding down the unlock button for about 40 seconds (until the roof is fully retracted)

 

Does it really work?

 

I have used door button to drop top on my 12sport.I was warned by dealer service to avoid as a weak battery can cause system to fail. Dont use anymore. just use switch in console and with engine running.

 

Thanks, gsqrd! Mine is a 2010 and I don't think pushing the button on the door handle REALLY gets the top to go off. Some other users (2-3 of them) said to have accomplished just that, tho! I'll have to try and see if it's true!
