It works very well. And after paying $50K, paying an additional $800 takes away a major blemish on what otherwise is a very well styled car.
When was that? Do you know where they got it from?

The spoiler was installed the second week of November at Austin Infiniti. Not sure from which dealership they got it.

I only had the other antenna on the car for a week, but I can not tell any issue with reception. Its also nice looking out the rear view mirror without the antenna in sight.

The Convertible spoiler with integrated antenna will be available in 2010..for.$700. i actually got rid of stubby antenna by replacing with small 4mm round rf connector with rubber cap..for now looks better and no reception issues but I still prefer spoiler with integrated antenna.

Any ideas on when, exactly? I would LOVE to dump the stubby AND the chrome lump.

Looks good! So reception was not affected? Where did you get the new piece?

Love the colour! If I had ordered, I think that would have been my choice.

I'm going to look at this closely as I've never been bothered before. On my bmw e36 vert there were a number of "short" antennas available - Bimmian Micro Antenna for BMW 3 Series - 1992-98 E36 for example. These came with multiple screw thread adapters and were anodized aluminum - possible to get a better color match for example - and I "think" they are smaller - 3" and 4" sizes were available. I'll pull the one of my e36 and g37 and compare them. The blue anodized was quite close to the Athens Blue. I usually hate spoilers - I don't want my car to look like an Eclipse - but the Infiniti one looks quite nice. I think I'd rather do the ironman headlight mod first though if it is going to cost $1000 or so.

Infiniti does offer a shorter antenna, but it is still pretty big.

If you are thinking about headlights, you should look around. There is 3 different vendors now on the forum that do headlight modification.

Called Austin Infiniti today and the parts guy said that an aftermarket spoiler from Infiniti was not available. Ugh, in competence sucks.
