Is the 2010 Nav wires different than the 2009 wires in color coding or harnes change with the new nav update?

Sorry for the delays in releasing this product - we were slammed with orders last week and I just couldn't get around to updating the site and all that stuff. However, it HAS been updated now and to apologize even further I have a 10% off coupon set up (Coupon Code: MyG37) until the end of July, 2010. This code is good for ALL KPtechnologies products!

Here is a link to the new product - the CT20!

As always please let me know if you have any questions

Question

Do you have any instructions written up for this install?

The manual should be up on the site very soon. It is like most of our other manuals - pretty vague and generic providing an experienced installer with the information needed to complete the install. It is not a step by step guide.

The basic process is remove the trim around the shifter, remove the trim behind that trim (the trim that the button is in) and make electrical connections at the switch and yaw sensor. The manual does list typical wire colors but it is imperative that the wires be verified with a volt meter before making connections.

Planning on getting the nav bypass and the one-touch convertible module. Anything planned for the key fob control for the convertible?

As of right now there is no plans for any keyfob control as the top can not be raised or lowered if the motor isn't running.

Hi Kevin,
Correction to your last message: I went to the car this morning, with the engine off, and held the door button.
After a while both sets of windows lowered then almost immediately the roof retracted.
Again, this was from a parked, locked and engine off position.

You are correct Winger however, the top will not go up without power.

From my day of testing I don't remember ever being able to get the roof to move with the motor not running, but maybe I am not recalling something correctly.

If you are using the black button on the door to lower it then it is working through the intelligent key interface and you would have to have a key near the vehicle to easily interface with it. The alternative is to control the power and switch inputs to the roof controller to make it think the ignition is on. With the placement of the roof controller (behind rear passenger side panel) and the extremely limited market that is not a project we would likely take on.
