People do not make stupid comments! I don't know why you are having a difficult time understanding that when the car has a non clean title, the Market value for it drops big time. This means that if someone buys it for your price, drives it for a year or two and wants to sell it, they will suffer a big money loss because of the title!
Also, as an engineer who has worked in the Auto Design and Test Lab in years, I could tell you that any impact (specially on the front of the vehicle at 25 MPH) causes alot of stress to all the drivetrain parts which may not be noticable until many thousands of Miles. It is a Gamble which is why people want to know!
