You should really get a CarMax quote and not go below that. I can't believe people wouldn't go for this. I priced a 2011 coupe with the same specs as mine and dealers were selling for $39k-44k.

Have you tried CL and the good old fashioned newspaper? Why not simply trade it in?

Yea I've been offered fairly close to his asking price on trade-in and that wasnt even at carmax and my car has more miles. i'd think he could walk away at that price pretty easily.
