I think by cost you money to get out of it, he means you will have to offer a pretty hefty incentive to lower the payment to be more attractive to a prospective buyer. Honestly you can almost get a base M3 for what you are asking. Trust me, that is one of the cars I was looking at and that is pretty much what you are asking for. GLWS

 

I'm saying that there are very few people in the world stupid or desperate enough to take your bad lease off of your hands.

You won't be able to get out of the lease without paying a decent sum of money because nobody wants your car.

I think it was pretty clear what I said the first time.

1) Your monthly payment is $100/150 higher than what a person with good credit could get.

2) You modified the car with a ****ty exhaust that you don't even know the name of.

3) The rims are painted black, so whenever the person who would theoretically take the lease off your hands went to turn it in, they would have to trade those out.

4) You're asking for a down-payment of 2k.

5) You should be offering the buyer 3k+ to take the lease off your hands.

This is the OP's sale thread so lets be respectful. There's no need to bash his car or him trying to get rid of it. I think we are all probably pretty much on the same page that it will be extremely difficult to find a buyer for this considering the terms, but maybe he'll get lucky. Let's not make matters worse by crapping on the thread.

If you have any information that might be legitimately helpful to him post it up.
