Not breaking news but, just searched the patents from Nissan's patents and some interesting things, G30t does state that it is a turbo charged automobile don't know how that's going to slot with the G37. Maybe G30t will replace G37.

And also was browsing through more patents there was the I20, I37, I40, AX20, AX35, and also did see Q35, Q40, Q50, Q55 the Q patents were issued in September 2012. Maybe the Q is coming back?

Nice info but it in no way means that Nissan intends to build all of those cars. They just wanted to patent the trademarks just in case. Interesting, but it doesn't mean anything.

 

G30t probably means touring... like they did with G20t.

 

That is certainly an interesting take. I'm leaning more towards the thought of it meaning "Turbo". Which there has already been discussion of Turbo in the next G line. Besides, I can't see Infiniti downgrading a 3.7 engine to a 3.0 without having something that really stands out in performance. While I can see the G35h referring towards a "Hybrid", the G22d is somewhat of a mystery (hope the "d" doesn't stand for what I think it does.) Just looking over these new patents there is no reference or mention of a "G30ts", or "G30tx", or even a "G30txs" for example. It will be interesting to see what the final product looks like when it comes out.

Where's this coming from?

 

Japanese mags have been reporting it for some time now, VQ30VD as base and the VQ30VDT instead of the VQ37. V37???????2013???????????????????????????????

I mean its time for the return of the turbo Skyline, in this time where most cars are turbo'd.

 

Lots of places are saying ut's 330hp, but there are also saying it will have 400hp hope it's the later one.

 

I don't see anything in that article that says 330hp. And besides, it's all speculations and nothings official. Just a bored Japanese journalist doing this thing.
