It will be interesting to see what the next generation Gs will look like, but I'm more interested in what will be under the hood, especially the IPL. I think a significant power boost is needed. Maybe they'll introduce future IPLs to turbos?

Maybe an engine derived from the VR38DETT...

Actually, I'm guessing the new 2014 G37 will still have the VQ37VHR (maybe with some minor tweaks), and they'll offer the hybrid engine from the M as an option for a later model year (2015?)

It looks good to me. I'd definitely get another G over a Bimmer/MB/AUDI. But, I really do hope they improve on the inside in terms of engine, mpg, and torque in low ends.
