Well you have to give credit where it's due.

First, go to Korean before you start judging it's a Hyundai because you will be WAY SHOCK of how better the car is over sea's than here. I bet most people didn't know that Samsung built cars and if you ever rode in one they are built pretty legit. The interior is solid as rock yet they way way more features than our Infiniti

Second, I actually test drove a Genesis and I was actually pretty surprised of how well it's made. Nothing seems like it's cheaply made.

Third, only thing I take away from Hyundai is their design. I wish they came up with something on their own stead of piggy backing off of other companies.

Now Infiniti has to setup their game and come out with a better car.

Here is my opinion, I think they are going to use the IPL line engine basically a tune and exhausts and use it for the future model. So meaning 350 hp and about 300 torque or so.

Versions of that thing have been circulating for the last two years. It's just another fake mockup/spy shot/whatever from a Japanese car mag.

I think that's a bit of an arrogant comment. Although I admit I would never get caught dead driving a Hyundai several years ago, I wouldn't mind owning one today if I had the opportunity. Korean automotive engineering has some a LOOONNG way.

Well said DashKid. People in the 80's used to say Japanese cars were crap and look where they are now. Don't be surprised if Hyundai is up there with the best in the next decade or two (especially if they branch off to a luxury brand name which I think they should do like the rest of the successful Japanese companies).

You mean 2014 model year? Or actual release year? As a person who hates to see my car's body get outdated, I hope it's the latter

I mean the G has a life cycle of 6 years, IPL & new bumpers came as a mid-cycle refresh

It came out in 2008, refresh sometime around 2011, do the math

even lexus is in the same boat with their IS model... getting outdated.

some mercedes c-class owners cant even tell what was refreshed and updated for the new 2012 models, which a lot has changed

you can stilll set apart the 2007-2009 and 2010-2012 G sedans w/ the front end, the G37 coupes are a good design period... but funny how the 2003-2007 G35 coupes still dont look outdated at all

Yeah, the 2003-2007 G35 coupes still have a sexy looking exterior. It's too bad the interior looks like it is from the late 80's/early 90's.
