Nissan Ellure Hybrid Concept

Has a little Lexus/Hyundai feel to it. I like it. Hopefully Nissan or Infiniti will actually capitalize on the design because Mazda and Hyundai designers are sitting on their a$$ waiting to see what Nissan designers come up with so they can take those designs.

they need to hurry up and make a production model... if the nissan leaf looked more attractive, it'll be a better seller.

Definitely has an "Infiniti-feel" to it with the wavy hood and stong belt-line like the Essence concept and new M sedan. I'm surprised that they made this or organic feeling. I remember reading an interview with Shiro Nakamura back in the summer and he said that Nissans were supposed to look like they were designed by machines and Infinitis were supposed to like they were sculpted by nature.

They did copy the Infiniti Essence Concept. LOL @ Mazda Shinari and Huyndai i-Flow Concept.

That could be a problem as I see it. When I look at the design philosophy between Nissan and Infiniti, the line are gradually becoming blurred. The Ellure has enough hard lines to incorporate the machine feel, but I see a car that might be better off as an Infiniti.

If organic and machine designs are the roles and Nissan and Infiniti are the actors auditioning for those roles, who should be playing what part? I don't know and I'm beginning to think Nissan designers don't either.

When I first saw these I thought they were the concept vehicle for the Infiniti EV.
