No complaints from me.
Infiniti realizes that there are some who just need a nice cruiser. I most certainly will get a G25S since I don't really care much about 0-60 or outgunning every other F&F wannabe. I just want a nice, comfy, reliable long-distance cruiser. Not everyone cares about how much power a vehicle has. Some will just buy the vehicle because of the supposed brand cache like yuppies (which I am NOT I assure you.... ).
Furthermore, over in Europe where gas is more expensive than here in NA, they will appreciate the G25 even more due to its better fuel economy.
A lot of the "enthusiats" are upset that the G25 won't be FI, but hey; Infiniti still has to cater to the rest of the buying public as well. They realize that some people want basic transportation with an upscale nameplate and they're just trying to get a piece of that pie.

No kidding. Look how long Lexus was around before they introduced their first performance model. Infiniti is successful now, but for a long time they were really struggling. Once they have proven that they can maintain the brand, and they've built up the customer base then they can think about a performance model or two.

Another way to look at it is that selling more mainstream models like a G25 will help pay the bills to develop more performance oriented models. Just look at BMW. Most of their revenue comes from selling models like the 325, 328 and 528, not the 335, M Series, etc.

Yeah, the whole point of this car to compete against the lower model BMWs. It's for someone who wants an Infiniti but can't afford the G37. This is a good move as it'll (hopefully) bring Infiniti more customers and bring in more money.
