Not suggesting this isn't true but the verts today have 325 hp and they have JUST been released. Wouldn't make any sense to upgrade for 2010 models that are coming out in 5 months!!! Who ever heard of a 6 month life cycle on an engine?!
Who knows maybe they will upgrade it or maybe Edmunds is wrong?
You may be correct, however it would make production sense to manufacture one less engine line to reduce cost and put the DI engine in all the G37 cars. With todays automotive world anything goes.
