They must be talking about "regular" MB and not the AMG versions. The 7AT in the AMG's are just fine, no problems. C63 AMG anyone?

Actually the '09 FX (US & Canadian Version) will have the 7AT. It's supposed to be released next month according to Infiniti (June release).

A doctor at the Hospital that i work at has an IS-F. He has 3000 miles on the ODO and he has no problems (engine, tranny, etc). Boy does that thing shift QUICK (faster than I ever could in my last MT car).

Nice. Is the one they use in the IS-F the same as the one in the LS?

I think so... but the IS-F's tranny is porbably upgraded. Here's the link:

Anyone else know the latest about the '09 G37 7AT coming out? Someone posted that Infiniti engineers were currently doing tests on the 7AT and that it is currently failing due to emissions.

I wonder what does a transmission have anything to do with emission.

The thought of a 7AT G37 has been giving me nocturnal emissions. Does that count?

Meanwhile, I may be caving in on a PG G37S 5AT, fully loaded. Fresh off the truck, way below invoice and 2.9% is seeming like a deal I shouldn't/can't refuse... even if they announce a 7AT '09 coupe - i'm looking at waiting another 4 months minimum!!

Can't. Hold out. Any. Longer.. Want. New. G37.... Badly.
