Dyno day in Tampa? Anyone intersted?

I'm going to call Coastal dyno regarding a dyno day for the Tampa members for our club (that does not limit it to Tampa members, everyone from all over Florida can come. You'll just have to make the drive ) They are using a Mustang dyno.

How many of you would be interested in this? Does anyone else have any reccomendations where we can host this besides coastal dyno that is near the Tampa area...?

I'm in for the event, but there's not much need to test my stock G.

6. FlFire - Attend, no dyno. (However, would dyno if it was a dynojet.)

I have been thinking about what type of dyno we should go with since our last dyno day was held at Next Level Performance in which we used a dynojet.

The two shops I had in mind for dynoing was either Coastal Dyno which uses a Mustand dyno or Rev Extreme which uses a dynojet.

The specs for Coastal's mustand dyno is here.

The specs for Rev Extreme's dyno is here.

Would you all prefer one over the other? I know Coastal dyno is a reputable shop, but I have no idea how good Rev Extreme as shop is other than the fact that forum members (VW & F-body LS1 guys) of tamparacing.com host many dyno days at both shops.

I called both shops and they both would like a minimum of t10 cars for 3 pulls with A/F wideband for $45 (i think thats a good deal considering we payed like $70 at next level performance) to make a dyno day happend.

My projected date to do this would be late to mid June.

Please look at all the links provided and tell me what you think.

Anyone else intersted? Anyone interested have a discrepancy on what kind of dyno is used? I would really like to set this up, but I will need at least 10 committed cars in order for this to happen.

so how many pass on the dyno are they willing to give and what is the cost?

I think I might make a run on it. I would like to see what the gain is from stock tube and airfilter to ztube and Stillen CAI just so others could use the data to decide what they want to do. If you think they would be willing to permit the change out between runs I'd be in.

Don't expect to see to much gain from your Z-tube and Stillen CAI on a rolling dyno. Better felt on the road with some real air getting to the motor.
