I needed to pass the wife and client test. What I did was to put a pair of dmhperformance.com electric-cutouts inline with the exhaust. When I need it quiet, I close it down. I have one cutout that totally cuts off half of the exhaust, forcing everything though the other side of the exhaust. (BTW, you better have a a good merge/balance tube to do this!) This does wonders to quiet down the exhaust. Then, I had the other cutout drilled out with about 25 small holes to further quiet things down. Like this, It is very quiet in the car ...amost like stock but with a performance muffler edge to it.
Of course, when closed all the way down, the engine is starved for air over 4000 rpms. If I need a little more rpm, I just tap the cockpit mounted switch to open it a bit.
It is very trick and addd about $300 to my overall exhaust expense.
I showed it to gilley at the meet last weekend. The quieting effect is much more noticable when driving than compared to idling, but you can still hear a significant difference at idle.

Greddy isn't exactly a true dual. Its got something like a y-pipe to a foot long merged section to a reverse y-pipe to 2 resonators and then straight back.... I just like the greddy because of the huge shiny canisters
... its quiet and i got it kinda cheap too... If you really need a true dual, I think hks would be the one to get, it sounds really really mean after hearing by driving behind Josh one night on the way home. I don't know how the wait for it is now, but way back then the wait was long as hell.
