I've been thinking that it might be nice to have one last mini meet for the WFL gang in the St. Pete/Tampa area before Christmas. This post is quite early, but I know several people are going away for the holidays. Seems like an early post might help people plan ahead.

How did I arrive at Monday, December the 19th? Well... I know Dan and Ryan have classes through the 16th... Dan also has a wedding on the weekend of the 17th... Bill leaves for vacation up North on the 20th... so that left the 19th!

How about we meet at Quaker Steak & Lube in Pinellas Park at 8:30pm. That's the same Quaker Steak & Lube where Dan and Steve set the hot wings record. Monday night is "Kid's Night" and they have a special 99¢ kid's meal. Monday night is also a quiet nite (no bikers or Karaoke) so it shouldn't be too crowded.

Having another local meet sounds like a good idea me.

I wish we (St. Pete/Tampa members) would have more regular meetings more often though... Anyways, keep us in touch John. I'll know for certain by next week if I'm working or not on Monday.

 

I'm not sure if I will be able to make it. But John, since you included me in your decision to plan this event, I will definitely try my hardest.

Chris, you just need to run for the BOD so this area will have some representation.

When the idea of this club was first discussed, one of the things we talked about was providing the dealership as an occasional meeting place for the locals. PLUS, I am always looking for an excuse to go get some wings..

I enjoyed the meets we had earlier in the year and I remember several people set them up, so I just sort of winged it...

I read all your posts, but am not actually sure what dates you want to do what on... and I thought you might be keeping your car now. Sorry if it appeared that I was trying to steal people away from your project. That is not the case.

Good idea... It's easier to just stop by one workday that to plan something on a weekend.
