i dont mind a boca meet, but where? and there is no i just washed my car and i dont wanna get it dirty this time

 

i kinda want boca too,

what about morakami, sugarsand, patch reef, or spanish river park on a1a.

any other suggestions

 

why dont you boca guys find more info on where it would be a cool place to have a meet

 

Morikami is a little too far and I doubt too many people would drive there from down south. Where is Sugarsand? Somewhere on Palmetto park road? And the other 2 places?

Guys, to be honest with you I'd rather have that meet in Miami-Dade just because a whole bunch of Miami people attended both Tower Shops meets and no one from Boca showed up at either (except for BocaCoupe who came to the 2nd one). If Miami people can drive 30 min to a meet, Boca people can drive too. We can do a separate Boca mini meet which would be awesome, but the Sept. 10th meet will most likely be in Miami-Dade. If there's enough interest, we can always have an FGC meet held in Boca next time.

I suppose your correct with that statement and can't really argue with it because you are right, but perhaps a more central, Broward location would be best? I also remember the 2nd All FL meet was NOT attended by hardly anyone from Miami-Dade. Besides, what would it hurt you all to get out and take her for a lil spin up to Boca anyways? Im in favor of another Miami meet but if it is hosted in Miami I think it should be as far North as possible the last Miami meet was rediculousy far South, and im not really one to complain about driving any distance.

Go ahead at your discretion and post a time and place wherever our B.O.D. chooses to but PLEASE DONT SIGN UP IF YOUR NOT GOING TO ATTEND! It's not fair for those of us who will actually show up.

*edit* And let us also realize the few of us in Boca who like to not show up to meets are not exactly helping us to persuade anyone to host a meet up here. If you all want a meet to happen up here, your going to have to show up to a meet more than a mile from your house.

 

if we can have the meet at oleta state park i think every1 will be happy cause its in north miami, so every1 will have to drive about ~30min

 

i like to keep the miles down on my car just as much as the next guy, but if were going to have a meet in miami why not do it right and go to south beach? its really not that much farther, and didnt we get these cars to have fun driving them?!?!?!?! do it on a sat afternoon, then hit the beach, bars or clubs afterwards - imho.

good point escobar, i always forget about that. my apologies to the youngins! there are no age restrictions on the beach however...

any good car shows (not tower shops) or events coming up we could all go to? i think we would have a lot better turnout - and even more fun - if we were actually going to something, rather than just somewhere. ive seen a lot of this from other groups (new york, dc), and it looks like great times with great turnout. just a thought

 

The problem with South Beach is parking. Finding parking for 15-20 cars on a Saturday afternoon, I don't think that's possible. Or if it is, all the parking garages are charging a flat fee of $20-25. If anyone has an idea where we can fit all the cars and not worry about parking, let me know.

Now, as far as having a Boca meet, we do have a nice little crew up there.. Austin, Drew, Truplay, Lexicon, now Bocacoupe. We also have a few people in North Broward who probably wouldn't mind driving. If I were you guys, I'd decide on a date/place, meet up, post up some pics.. just something to show that the Boca people are willing to commit to a meet.

The next meet is going to be at Oleta State (I'm yet to pay it a visit but that will happen today or tomorrow). Like Jose said, it's as north as it gets in Dade county, so it's close enough to everyone =)

the boca meet should be on the top of the muvico parking garage.........it would be sick.....with great photos.........

 

that would be awsome for a small meet, maybe we can do something like that at the end of the month. for all the local boca guys. i'm up at boca tues and thurs until 5pm, think that might be a good time top meet up.
