I want this dyno session to happen and I would really like for all you Forced induction members and anyone else who can make it to please show up (wink, wink, Djniknala, pearlwhite03, zul8tr,etc. ).

I just tried calling Norris Motorsports/Next Level Performance and talked with their secretary, Sharon.

Mike, the owner (i think) who handles the dyno sessions is currently out of town and won't be back until Monday of next week. I've already sent him an e-mail and left him my number with his secretary. I should get a return call sometime next week (secretary said he will be swamped with e-mails to answer and return calls when he gets back).

Matt/Zu8tr, would your OZOC club member with the HKS supercharger be interested in attending? I forgot his name (i think it was Jorge).

 

O.k. Tom just called me back.

How many people: He would like to have a minimum of 15 people dynoing, maximum of 30 dynoing.


Price: same as before, $50 for 2 or 3 runs (Tom recommended we do 2 runs and said there's not much point to 3 dyno runs, but ok'd if we wanted three for that price).


When can we dyno: I told him we were shooting to dyno sometime in August. He told any weekend in August is good except for the 3rd week of Aug. (20-21) where they would be shorthanded.


I will not be able to attend this dyno session if we scheduele it the weekends of Aug 13-14 or Aug 20-21. So I would like to do it either Aug. 6th or Aug. 27th. If you all would like to do it sometime in between don't let me stop you, but I won't be able to come.

I did not know that Tom was part of OZOC. We both talked about inviting forced induction members from both our clubs into the fray. Ozoc has an HKS supercharged Z(Jorge) and APS TT Z(Caesar) so i'm hoping they come out to play.

As a matter of fact, if anyone's not doing anything tomorrow Sat. They'll be dyno tuning the APS TT Z at Next Level Performance. I wish I could go, but I've got someting to do...


Wes, are you sure you called these guys? Why is it I call them in one day and they immediately call me back where as you call them and you're still waiting for that return call?

 

Wes has a big poker week going on which is his main focus. I can understand where he's coming from. This is like the Superbowl or World Series for a major sports fan.

 

Wes was bluffing. I say we aim for the last weekend in August and try to set something up with OZOC! Ian, since you seem to be the man, why don't you make the post!

If there was an award for the most dedicated FGC Member, you would win it for sure. However, since I'm the president I would steal it from you and abuse my power then Wes would probably take it from me gambling somehow. Boy life is unfair.

last week in august is perfect for me

 

The last weekend in August would be perfect. The weekend before, I will be in the Bahamas. Then school starts . But the dyno will take my mind off of that.

I'm interested in doing the dyno run the last week of August. I'll have to decide whether to bring the coupe or sedan. I don't think I want to pay for two cars at the same time.

Or if there are that many of us, an early dyno day then a mid afternoon move ought to get you taken care of.

Just hope we don't put off your move like you put off scheduling this dyno day.... DOH!
