Is any local detailers going to be on site to do fluff and buff to our g's. As much as I would love to spit shine the car at 6am finding a hose and bucket might be hard. Just curious as I know the 4352 bugs on my bumper will be an issue for me

 

Are you asking for a wash area with hose and bucket so that you can "clean up" after your drive?

im just gunna stop at a carwash when we get off of I-75.

 

We do have a detail service available here. Now, if you are a Zaino person we do not use that system. But if you are looking for a standard detail job, we can get that done. The only problem is that your car would be in the Detail Center most of the time(if not ALL of the time) you are here on the 5th.

If anyone is interested in this, please let me know. With the nature of this event, and the fact that showing off your car is a big part of this, I'm just not sure that this would be the day to schedule a 4 hour detail job.

 

you could run down to one of the 2 or so car washes on Gulf to Bay Blvd (60) in Clearwater. they are just a few short miles past the US19/Gulf to Bay Blvd overpass. Maybe 5 minutes from Lokey. I believe they would be open around 8 or 9 a.m.

there is also a "do it yourself" car wash by my neighborhood. it is on the corner of Sunset Point Rd and Belcher Road. right next to the Walgreen's pharmacy. open 24/7. $1.50 for a quick DIY or about $4.00 to drive through the "no touch" bay. that is about 5-10 minutes from Lokey also. i can give directions if you want to go that route. very easy if you are coming from Gulf to Bay or US19 to get to Lokey.

 

orrr if anyone is interested...my parents have a house 10-15 minutes from the Lokey Infiniti. we have a very large driveway that can fit probably 8 cars. im heading out with the CFL caravan at 6am. so ill be in clearwater around 8am. im heading straight for my house to wash up my G before the meet. if anyone would like to come over and join me in washing the G, that would be cool. i couldnt even imagine the looks we would get from our neighbors, considering we get enough attention from my dad's crossfire and harley...and now my G.
