I know some of you talked about it in the ALL FLORIDA MEET THREAD but it would be easier if we have our own to coordinate and stuff

What time and place should we meet??

 

seeing as we are as far south as just about everyone, we need to leave relatively early to make it to clearwater at a reasonable hour. What area of miami do you guys live in? I'm in kendall, and I know there's a couple of us here. I was thinking that maybe we would just meet in mini groups in our respective areas, find a parking lot central to everyone, and then everyone cruise up together. How's that sound?

I'm in Miami Lakes. It would be nice if we could actually eat breakfast together someplace near Weston or Davie off of I-75 so then we could easily get back on I-75 and proceed West. This would also enable the Broward and south Palm Beach county crowd to meet us too.

My problem with this whole thing is the logistics of a 4 hour drive and this meet starting at 8am and ending at 3pm. In my mind, I'd like to get there no later than say 11am, hang out, have lunch, hang out, and leave around 2 or 3pm.

With that plan, however, we'd have to meet for breakfast around 6amish, and leave around 7am. I'm just talking out loud here, so any ideas are welcome.

What do you think?

P.S. I think this may be a little early to work out all the details because I bet most people won't sign up and commit until mid-February. It's OK for us to get a framework now, but finalizing probably should wait a bit.

 

I think it will be best if we take I595 west to I75 / Alligator Alley. So I'd suggest all Miami peeps have a meeting point in Dade and then drive up to I595, same for all the Palm Beach people who can drive down to I595. Then we can have a third meeting point around I595 for all of us where the Broward people will join too.

As far as what time we should meet, I'm cool with heading out at 6am so that we can beat the traffic. But it's up to the rest of you to decide what time we're meeting at the local meeting points and what time and where we all are supposed to meet.

So everyone post away with suggestions about the meeting points and times. It will be great if everybody posts where they're located and where/when they would like to meet up. I for one will most likely be up in Boca where we can meet at the Town Centre just like last time.

 

Great that's basically what I had in mind Yup it's a little too early and nothing is set in stone yet, but we could at least decide on the meeting points.

MEET AT Markham Park then it's right before i-75 im also going, from Boca, but most likely will be leaving Friday night my mom lives there so ill have aplace to stay, i hope some of you are planning on Staying mayeb Saturday night, goin out to ybor city, doin something dont plan on driving home sat afternoon unless you must!

So whats the final word on the ride out to clearwater...where are the miami guys meeting and at what time?....im out in kendall also by the falls 136 and us1...there is a meet for south florida on feb 12th...we can discuss it there...im just not sure where the meet is located...i think in ft laudi...but if anyone knows email me
