Arrogance will get you nowhere...

a certain member of the FGC got really rude with me last night after i asked a simple question on a thread that simply asked "When are you getting your car back from Sharif??" he then IMed me a lot of times saying, "delete that ****!!" "delete that post!!" "i dont want anyone to know" (i even saved it for the hell of it)

he then added to it all with a lot of sarcasm and being very rude to me for no reason. im not mentioning his name and deleted my post but just wanted him to know that he shouldnt be rude to people that he doesnt know very well and there is a nice way of "asking" someone to do something.

we are a pretty tight family here at the FGC and dont need cocky and arrogant people "telling" other people what to do...

not cool...

we are a tight family in FGC, started originally here in Orlando and branched out. i have pretty much been there since day one and been cool with everyone. i get along with 95% of the people i meet. laid back for the most part BUT dont like to be disrespected by someone who doesnt know who i am. there is a nice way of doing something and an arrogant cocky way of trying to "tell" someone what to do. i didnt put anyones name in this thread so i am just making a public service announcement. yes it does help the situation because that certain "person" will understand that we are all cool here and have respect for one another and that needs to stay that way.

That's not cool, especially if you don't want to have to drive to Atlanta to get any future work done on your car.

Sorry, Lyndon, but I disagree. If you are going to be an a$$hole to someone--regardless of the reason, you have to expect negative consequences. I think Jeremy was pretty contained by not dropping names. I would have outted whoever it was.
...
Since we are on the topic of being shi++y, I went to Stage 6 in Jax yesterday to pick up a couple of gaskets. I called them for over an hour and a half with no answer and a nonspecific voicemail, so I just drove over. At 1:30pm, I see guys in the shop standing around the counter but the door was locked. They stared at me like I was retarded. I was wearing a shirt, pants and tie and I have grey freakin' hair. Finally, one dumb@$$ walked over to the door and pointed to an "at lunch" sign hung over 6 feet high, shrugged and walked back over to the counter. I called again from there with no answer.

I guess they are so busy building twin turbo Ford GT's that their customer service fell off the planet. I went to high-school with Ricky (who apparently wasn't there), but honestly, fu(k 'em--I'd never do business with them again--even for a couple of stupid gaskets (and I've spent a lot of money with them in the past).

i guess i spoiled some big surprise is what is the whole deal. who knows, i would have deleted my post if he would have just asked me nicely. i think he took it too personal for no reason. this really shouldnt have been an issue or turned into anything but he was so rude in how he was "telling" me what to do

i mean, unless you are putting 4 nissan titan engines in your G with 8 turbos, everything you are doing has been done. its not really that big of a deal where its enough to be rude to someone on here. i think FP does a fine job and is priced pretty high. people here local have very nice cars done correctly with no issues and still have money left in their accounts....

Is it a super secret deal to get work done at Forged Performance?

It's not a good idea to **** of the best local tuner unless you just like driving to Atlanta to get work done.

well maybe not 4 titan motors but i have seen pics of the 4.5 in the G. It was pretty bad ***. Oh crap i just thought of a way to beat Ron. 5.6 TT Titan motor in my G with SGP Trans with custom made arias pistons and Pauter rods fully sleeved. I wonder what that would put down.

I wouldnt put up with any crap.....its not worth the time or the effort.
