I have been talking with Mike and Brock from the 350z club of Florida about the event and I wanted to not have as many cars to enjoy more track time. We were thinking of having only 25 cars at $100 per person. At $50 per person we would need 50 cars and that cuts down driving time.

The track is $2250.00 for the day and covers the EMT as well. The extra $250.00 would go towards trophies, food & beverages for everyone. There is no money to be made by this but just to cover cost. There will be a new thread started down the road when a date can be planned.

Note: $100.00 might seem like alot of money for some, But over 30 of us spent $46.00 yesterday at the go-kart track for a little over 2 hours and loved every second of it. This would be a full day of it.

Yes I am still alive and I am going to bring the GT-R.. I was thinking if possible of 12-Z's,12-G's and my GT-R.

 

is it too early to start a sign-up list? or are things not official yet?

We are waiting to hear back on the date from the track. As soon as I hear from them I will post everything.

As mentioned by Rich, we will have slots available for 12 350z's, 12 G35's, and 1 GTR (Rich's). We are looking at $100.00 each but we will have more track time with less cars. Should be a blast....

fyi.....This event is Not being put on by the 350Z club of Florida. When we found out that the FZA was not holding a track event this spring a few of us in Sarasota decided to arrange it.

I'm hoping we will have everything worked out soon. As soon as we do we will start an official thread and drivers list based on a first come first serve basis.

I personally think its a great price to test out your car on a small road course and wanted to post this up in case any G35 in the Florida area (FGC club or non club member) were interested. The last time I went out there it was $100 a head so this is a good deal.

New Format for 2007!

One session: from 10 am to 4 pm and the cost is $40.00 for Car & Driver. All drivers must be entered, one car & driver per entry.

Crew and Spectators are $5.00 each



The driving and vehicle dynamics test track is a road course facility designed and built specifically with a mix of different types of curves, corners, intersections, and straight-aways.



All Drivers Must Have a Helmet and Pass a Basic Tech Inspection.
Racecars must meet SCCA standards.
Course times are not provided. Please bring a friend and a stopwatch if you want your own times.
