take a look at the link gilley posted. you might be better off with the 1/2" spacer if you're looking for low end power.

Its actually the other way around. The 5/16" spacer makes more TQ, more area under the curve and a higher average.

The 1/2" spacer makes more peak power at high RPM.

No, not at all.

On a REVUP engine, the MREV2 with spacer gains massive TQ. Much more than any other mod short of nitrous or turbo.

The graph is showing the upper range redline shift from 3rd to redline in fourth. (5040 RPM - 6500 RPM)

When you look at the full range of 2000-6500 RPM, the 5/16" spacer makes more TQ and area under the curve. The data is simplified in the bar charts.
The 5/16" spacer makes the highest average power across the full range.

I think one thing that hasn't been mentioned here, and the most signifigant, is air/fuel ratio.

Yea, i do agree that the plenum+MREV is probably the most bang for the buck, however one piece of advice that i throw on the table is that i only got the 5/16" plenum on my G, not the MREV yet.

When i dynoed the car, yes the horsepower/TQ gains were very signfigant, but at what cost? Well, the more air flow you push through your engines, the more lean your air/fuel ratio will get without raising your fuel levels. The engineer at the dyno shop told me that i'm running signifigantly lean for the horsepower i'm putting out, and it could pose some stress and potential danger for the engine if i don't equalize it with the fuel output. This means therefore purchasing a fuel mapper, such as technosquare, which is the only mapper that comes to mind right now, and costs $500. Just "fuel" for thought.

With only a spacer and popcharger you shouldn't be running lean. What did he say your A/F was?

I'll have to dig into the records in the morning and look at the dyno stats. I just realized I was missing my stillen catbacks in my sig as well.

If you can scan and post them it would be much better to do an analysis on them.

Since anyone performing these mods is altering a very expensive automobile, it's not out of reason for them to purchase something like the Cipher analysis software to check their A/F ratio.

How is the MREV2 and spacer compare to the Kinetix V+? According to Kinetix they estimate 14-18hp plus it runs cooler and is cheaper...only $299

...versus MREV and spacer $600
