Thanks John Oliva, Cory, & Brian Cassey at Lokey Infiniti...

Just wanted to make a post of praise for our sponsor, Lokey Infiniti in Clearwater, FL, for taking care of my car problem. I was having some kind of rattling noise underneath my car. A friend suggested it might have been one of my crawford cats rubbing against the heatshield or an exhaust rattle.

Apparently it was lil bit worse than that. One of my Crawford high flow cats (passenger side) imploded and there was catalytic converter debris all through out my exhaust system. The techs at Lokey Infiniti had to dissassemble my Borla True Dual exhaust and clean out all the cat debris I can only imagine how much of a pain in the rear that must have been. I've replaced them with Fast Intention high flow cats and so far I am pleased with its performance. I hope they last longer than the crawfords did.

As far as I know I am the second G35 owner that Lokey has encountered this problem with. FLFIRE, I briefly saw you at Lokey. But I didn't recognize you until you pulled out from the dealership bay

Thanks John Oliva, Cory and Brian for taking care of me and giving me the 10% discount. I appreciate it and you've got a customer for life. Thanks for supporting the FGC.

I'm glad you finally got this problem fixed, Ian.

Did you get the ceramic or the metallic FI cats?

How do you like the FI cats so far? Do they sound different?

I got the ceramic high flow cats.

I've had Random Technology, Crawford and now Fast intention high flow cats. To me, there is no big difference in sound as my Borla True Dual exhaust is pretty quiet to begin with. I think only the tone of my exhaust got deeper with high flow cats (it is my oppinion that all three brands have this effect which I think is good).

Lookwise and construction wise, the welds on the piping look good. The look of the high flow cat looks like the old Random Technology high flow cats I had except the welds are visible. The catalytic converters, themselves, are of the magnaflow brand. The cats came with two warranty slips in case one of them imploded/blow/are damaged out on you. I'm not sure how the warranty agreement would work, but I imagine you would send them back to Fast Intentions and they would either repair or send you a new cat. They came with their own bolts/washers/gasket, but I reused the oem bolts.

As far as a Lokey meet...it's being discussed/planned. The wheels are turning and soon things will be in motion for it...

Likely story.

+1 for Lokey. They have always treated me right. It is well worth the drive from Orlando.

Thanks for the good information, Ian.

I'm glad you like the new cats. I hope these hold up better for you. Time for a dyno run while the weather is still cool.

Good news on the Lokey meet, that's always a fun time.

My mom called me yesterday saying that Lokey had sent me a survery to fill out on customer service for Brian Casey. I told her to mark excellent for every category. I've always been a happy customer at Lokey.
