2FastG354U, your coming in here and provoking owners is not cool. I defended you AND the SRT4 when you asked about getting one, so you should know that I'm not biased. But you're making the SRT4 out like it's some super car. It's a great car and makes tons of power for cheap, but the g's and the srt4's are still pretty competitive.

I helped install a mopar stage2 kit on my best friend's srt4. Other than that, all he's got is a k&n filter. Stock, he pulled 226.94/239.73. After the stage2, he pulled 249.37/280.78. He saw more gains than I have for only $900. At certain points, he picked up almost 50 ft-lbs of torque. At a recent srt4 dynoday, he was putting down the same power as stage1's with MBC's and the spring mod.

But you know what? We are *dead even*. I still trap just a litte bit more than he does in the 1/4, but barely(~1mph). So my 3500lb car, making 265whp and 250ft-lbs, is neck and neck with a 2900lb car making 250hp/280f-lbs.

Don't put the SRT4 up on some kind of pedestal. There's always a faster car out there.

Trey, I respect you probably the most on this website and your opinion is extremely valued and you have a lot of good in put so I will drop this.. Your friend took the wrong path with his mods and it's unfortunate.. Stage 2 is probably the most highly debated topic in the SRT-4 community... You yourself thought about picking one up and let me first to tell you.. Do it trust me! I put down 288whp with out a doubt on a stock turbo.. I am going to get the car re-tuned next month because I have a few more parts that should put me around 300whp.

personally i dont see what everyone is gettin all worked up about.

he drives a non stock srt 4
i drive a non stock g

a car is a car. can one appreciate the car they drive and think whatever they want about it. srt4s are fast cars and totally different then the g. i think you guys are gettin too worked up over bullsh!t and should just let the topic go. i think his srt looks nice and i think my car looks nice. i also like some of the hondas that are out there too. at the end of the day a car is a car and it gets you from point a to point b. cant everyone just enjoy their own car and appreciate the work that everyone does to make their car their own car
